Terms & Image Licensing

All photography, video, and visual materials created by Jordan Licon Photography are protected by copyright unless otherwise stated in a written agreement. These terms are intended to clarify general website use, portfolio viewing, image licensing, and the way commercial photography projects are scoped. Specific client agreements, proposals, invoices, and signed contracts control the final terms for each assignment.

Usage licenses

Clients receive a usage license based on the project scope, package, and proposal. Usage may include personal branding, website, press, print, advertising, internal communications, social media, editorial publication, recruitment, menu, real-estate, architecture portfolio, or campaign use depending on the agreement. Usage rights are based on the audience, duration, geography, deliverables, media placement, and whether the work is being used personally, editorially, commercially, or for paid advertising.

Copyright

Copyright remains with Jordan Licon Photography unless a written copyright transfer or buyout is included in the signed agreement. Downloading, copying, editing, reposting, selling, training AI systems, removing metadata, or using images outside the granted license is not permitted without written approval. Portfolio images on this website are shown to represent photography, cinematography, architecture, food, headshot, portrait, drone, and commercial production work.

Commercial use

Commercial projects are scoped according to usage, duration, geography, deliverables, production needs, and licensing requirements. A headshot package, architecture commission, food photography shoot, drone assignment, editorial portrait, or full brand campaign may each require different licensing terms because the final images serve different business purposes. If a client needs expanded usage after delivery, additional licensing can be quoted. Clear licensing protects both the client and the creative work by defining exactly where images can appear and how long they can be used.

Website content and third-party links

The website may include links to booking platforms, portfolio galleries, social profiles, video hosts, press mentions, or partner services. Those sites are managed by their own owners and may have separate terms, privacy policies, accessibility standards, and availability. Website information is updated as services, pricing, portfolio work, and booking options evolve.

Booking and proposal clarity

Pricing, deliverables, turnaround, usage rights, retouching, travel, and additional licensing are confirmed through booking pages, proposals, invoices, or written communication before production begins. If a project scope changes after approval, additional fees or licensing updates may apply. This protects the client by keeping expectations clear and protects the studio by documenting how the work may be used.
